Men’s Outreach

The Liberty Community Church Men’s Outreach Ministry exists to serve our community and share the love of Jesus Christ through action. We believe faith is lived out best when it moves beyond words and into service.

Through hands-on labor, practical assistance, and intentional acts of kindness, our men work to meet real needs in Gold Hill, NC, and beyond. Whether it’s helping a neighbor, supporting church families, or responding when a need arises, our goal is to be the hands and feet of Christ.

Above all, our mission is rooted in the hope of the Gospel — that through service, relationships are built, hearts are opened, and lives are changed for Christ. As Scripture reminds us:

“As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.”
— Galatians 6:10

If you’re looking for a place to grow, serve, and make a meaningful impact, we invite you to join us.

Requesting Assistance

The Liberty Community Church Men’s Outreach Ministry exists to serve those in need through hands-on labor and practical support. If you or someone you know needs assistance, we invite you to submit a request for consideration.

To serve wisely and fairly, assistance is prioritized for widows, veterans, and those who are infirm, with first consideration given to members of Liberty Community Church and the Gold Hill community. Requests from the broader Rowan County area and all other needs are considered on a labor-only basis.

All individuals seeking assistance are asked to complete a brief application. This allows us to better understand each request, assess available resources, and respond as effectively as possible.

Every request is prayerfully reviewed. While we may not be able to meet every need, our heart is always to serve with compassion, dignity, and care.

Please return your application to 3940 Liberty Rd Gold Hill, NC 28071 or email to [email protected]

Our First Outreach Project

For the Men’s Outreach Ministry’s maiden voyage, the group set out with a clear goal: to serve our church family by transforming the parsonage into a warm, welcoming space for ministry.

The men came together to replace flooring and build custom bench seating, creating an inviting area designed especially for our youth and teen groups. What was once an unused space is now a cozy, comfortable alternative to the open fellowship hall — a place intentionally shaped for connection, conversation, and community.

This space will be used primarily for youth and teen gatherings, providing an environment where students can feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for as they grow in their faith and learn more about Jesus.

We’re grateful for the hands that worked, the hearts that served, and the vision that made this project possible — and we’re excited for the lives that will be impacted in this space for years to come.
