At Liberty Community Church, our van ministry is more than just transportation — it’s a heartfelt mission. Every Sunday, our church van travels through the Gold Hill, Rockwell, Faith, and parts of Salisbury communities to pick up children for Sunday School and church services. This ministry holds special meaning for Pastor Charlie, who grew up watching a similar program change lives and strengthen families. The impact he witnessed left a lasting mark on his heart and inspired him to bring that same opportunity to Liberty Community.
Our goal is simple: to welcome children, no matter their circumstances, and give every young person who wants to come to church a way to get here. We believe that hope, faith, and belonging should never be out of reach.
This ministry is available for children in 6th grade and above. If a child under the age of 12 wishes to ride, a parent or guardian must accompany them on the van. All riders will need a signed permission slip before their first trip.
Through this ministry, we pray to open doors, share God’s love, and continue building a church family where every child has a place to belong.
